At Ivory Dachshund Home, nothing matters more to us than the health and safety of our puppies. From the moment they take their first breath, every effort we make is guided by one goal: to raise strong, healthy, emotionally secure Dachshund puppies who are ready to become beloved companions in your home. We take great pride in not just talking about quality, but proving it through every puppy we raise, every vet appointment we attend, every test we perform, and every family we support through this beautiful journey.

Ivory Dachshund Home

Our health guarantee is a reflection of our commitment to excellence and transparency. We understand that bringing home a puppy is a big step  an emotional, joyful, life-changing decision  and we want to give you every possible reassurance that you're making the right choice. That starts with health. All of our breeding dogs are carefully selected and tested to ensure they are free from hereditary health conditions commonly found in Dachshunds. Before any breeding ever takes place, we complete DNA screenings and consult with veterinary professionals to confirm that our sires and dams are ideal candidates  not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

Welcome to Ivory Dachshund Home

Each of our puppies is born and raised inside our home. This means they grow up in a safe, clean, climate-controlled environment that mimics the home they’ll eventually live in with you. From day one, they receive loving human interaction, supervised play, proper socialization, and continuous monitoring to ensure their growth and development stays on track. We use high-quality food, filtered water, and puppy-safe sanitization practices to reduce the risk of infection or illness during their early weeks. We do not take shortcuts when it comes to veterinary care. Every puppy will receive age-appropriate vaccinations, multiple rounds of deworming, and a thorough head-to-tail veterinary checkup before leaving our care. You will also receive a detailed health record for your puppy, including their vaccine schedule, deworming dates, and recommendations for future care.

We offer a health guarantee to protect you — and most importantly, to protect the puppy. Our guarantee covers any life-threatening congenital or genetic health issues for a specific period after the puppy goes home, usually one full year. If, within that time, your licensed veterinarian diagnoses a covered condition that was present at birth, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement puppy, a refund, or assistance with veterinary care. We want our families to know that we stand by every puppy we place and that your peace of mind is our responsibility, too.

In addition to our health guarantee, we provide lifetime breeder support. That means you can contact us with questions at any point in your puppy's life. Whether it’s a health concern, behavioral question, dietary recommendation, or simply a need for guidance  we’re here. We want you to feel empowered, educated, and never alone. Once you adopt from us, you become part of our extended family, and we treat you like one.

We know that not every family can make the trip to our home to pick up their puppy in person. That’s why we’ve created a safe, comfortable, and stress-free shipping and delivery process to help bring your new best friend home, no matter where you are in the country. We only use trusted, experienced puppy transportation services that specialize in handling small-breed dogs with care and compassion. Our puppies are never shipped as cargo. Whether by air or ground, they travel in temperature-controlled environments with proper ventilation, comfort, and supervision.

For families within reasonable driving distance, we are happy to meet you partway or even deliver the puppy to your home ourselves, if scheduling allows. We always work around what’s safest and most convenient for both the puppy and you. If flying is the best option, we work with flight nannies who will escort your puppy in-cabin from our arms to yours. Your puppy will not be placed in the cargo hold or treated like luggage. They are accompanied throughout the entire journey, with regular check-ins and photos along the way. This service typically includes a soft travel crate, a small supply of food, and comforting items that smell like home  making the transition less stressful for the pup.

Prior to travel, we complete a final vet check to confirm your puppy is cleared to fly or travel long distances. We also provide a signed health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian, as required by all reputable transport services and most airlines. We take care of all coordination and communication, keeping you updated at every step so you know exactly when your puppy is leaving and when to expect their joyful arrival.

Shipping costs vary depending on location, flight nanny availability, and your preferred method of delivery, but we always aim to keep things fair and transparent. There are no hidden fees  just an honest breakdown of what it takes to get your puppy home safely. We never compromise on safety for the sake of speed, and we ask for your patience and flexibility to ensure the timing is right for your puppy’s well-being.

When your puppy arrives, they will come with a puppy care package that includes their health records, a small bag of their current food, a favorite toy, and a blanket with the scent of mom and littermates to help ease the transition. It’s our way of sending a little piece of home with them, to help them feel secure as they settle into your arms.

Bringing home a puppy from Ivory Dachshund Home is more than just a transaction. It’s a commitment   from us to you, and from you to them. We promise to always act with honesty, compassion, and professionalism. We raise our puppies with heart, and we send them out into the world with hope — hope that they will be loved, cherished, and treated as the priceless family members they truly are.

We invite you to reach out to us with any questions you have about our health guarantee, puppy care practices, or transportation options. We’re always happy to talk, because we understand how important this decision is. You’re not just getting a dog — you’re gaining a companion, a sidekick, and a piece of our heart. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
